Every member of South Central Region composed of the States of ARKANSAS, NEW MEXICO, OKLAHOMA and TEXAS are encouraged
to plant trees.
It is your choice as garden club members to select one of the three projects to support.
It is hoped that you will chose to support more than one of them.
What a difference we can make if we all plant trees, or supply money to help the very worthwhile organizations that
have been chosen as our UNIFIED PROJECT.
Now for the incentives!
Winning state application will receive $125.00
Second place state application - $75.00
Third place state winner - $60.00.
Fourth place state - $40.00.
Each state is a winner. All it takes is a book of evidence, consisting of 12 single pages, or 6 pages, front and back.
PRESENTATION - 5 Points: neat, concise, includes all required information, does not exceed 6 pages, front and back.
ACHIEVEMENT - 65 Points: scope of project, need and fulfillment benefit, accomplishment, comprehensiveness of work, activities
to attain goals, evaluation of goals reached, educational, prior planning, and financial report.
PARTICIPATION 15 Points: involvement of members, community, youth and any other organization.
RECORD OF DOCUMENTATION - 15 Points: supporting data, clear, well labeled and neatly attached, so they can easily be
removed to make one book of evidence. Before and after pictures, and any letters of appreciation. It is very important to
send amount of PENNY PINES donations, with the name of the donator, the person who is being honored, and the amount. If possible
a copy of the form would be most helpful.
